David and Sandy began serving Lowell Avenue Baptist Church in May of 2022. David received an undergraduate degree in Pastoral Ministry and a minor in Counseling, and a Master of Divinity degree from  The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008. Pastor Dave and Sandy have previously pastored in Flint, Michigan, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and in Landover Hills, Maryland. Our passion is see people won to Christ, discipled and walking with the Lord daily. Lisa Gupton has served at Lowell Avenue Baptist in a variety of capacities and has served as the music director for 38 years . Lisa has served in a multiude of capacites as a music educator and choral director at Taylor County High School and Lindsey Wilson College influenceing generations.
